Why moving and storage belong together
Most people arrive at storage sideways. They did not set out to rent space — a closing date slipped, a renovation ran long, or a house had to be emptied before anyone was ready to sort through it. What they then discover is that handling it in two halves is what makes it expensive: a moving company loads the truck and drops everything at a self-storage unit, somebody carries it all in, and months later somebody carries it all back out and a second mover is hired to finish the job. The same furniture gets handled four times, and it is paid for every time.
Doing both under one roof collapses that. Your belongings are loaded once, they stay loaded or stored as a unit, and they are delivered once. There is no self-storage lease to sign, no unit to size and hope you guessed right, and nobody spending a Saturday hauling boxes down a corridor. What we store, and how
Household contents, single rooms, whole homes, office furniture, stock and files. Everything is wrapped and padded before it goes in, exactly the way it would be for a long drive, because a scratch does not care whether it happened on the road or in a corner. Furniture is raised off the floor, and we keep a record of what went in so nothing gets lost between month three and month nine.

Storage questions
Can you move me and store my things in one job?
Yes — that is the point of doing both. One crew loads you out, your belongings go straight into storage, and the same company delivers to the new address when it is ready. One quote, one point of contact, and your things are only handled twice instead of four times. Splitting it between a mover and a separate storage yard is what makes it expensive.
How long can I store things for?
From a few days to as long as you need. Short-term is usually a gap between closing dates or a renovation; long-term tends to be a posting, an estate, or a downsizing that is taking its time. Tell us the dates you think you need and we will price it — and if the dates move, they move.

Can I get to my things while they are in storage?
Give us reasonable notice and we will arrange access. Being a local company rather than a chain with a call centre is the practical difference here — you are asking the people who put the boxes in, and they remember where.
Do you store things for people outside Renfrew?

What can’t you store?
Anything hazardous — fuel, propane, paint, chemicals — plus perishables, plants and anything living. That is standard for every mover, and it is worth emptying the mower and the barbecue tank before moving day either way.
