Quebec leases traditionally turn over on July 1, and a large share of the province moves within the same few days. Movers, elevators and parking all get scarce, and prices across the industry climb accordingly.
If your move can sit outside that window, you'll pay less and have a calmer day. If it can't, book as far ahead as you can and tell us early — we hold capacity for that stretch, but it goes quickly.

Do you handle out-of-province moves between Ontario and Quebec?
Yes — Ottawa ⇄ Montreal is a regular route for us, along with the rest of western Quebec. Tell us the two addresses and your dates and we will quote it flat, with the border crossing treated as the non-event it is.
Is an Ottawa to Montreal move done in one day?
Usually, yes. It is about a two-hour drive, so most moves load in the morning and are unloaded the same afternoon. Larger homes may run into a second day, and we tell you that when we quote rather than discovering it on the day.
Do you charge extra for crossing into Quebec?
No. There is no interprovincial surcharge in our quotes. You pay for the work and the distance, both of which we agree on before moving day.
Can you move me during the July 1 rush?
We can, but book early — that week is the busiest of the Quebec moving year and capacity across the whole industry disappears fast. If your dates are flexible, moving outside that window is cheaper and far less stressful.
